Biography
Tim is an investment strategist with responsibility for index investment strategy, index research and product development, and client strategy. Tim joined BlackRock in 2007 from Sungard APT where he worked for five years; three in Boston as a quantitative consultant specializing in equity market risk models and portfolio construction techniques, and two in London managing the European account management team and overseeing strategic clients. Previously Tim was a commercial real estate research analyst for Jones Lang LaSalle in Boston for two years and an MBA intern with Ernst & Young’s Global Real Estate Advisory Practice in New York. Tim graduated in 2002 with an MBA from the Tepper School, Carnegie Mellon University where he specialized in finance. Tim completed his undergraduate studies in 1995 from Washington University where he specialized in economics. Tim is also a CFA charterholder.
