Biography
Chris Burvill is one of the most highly regarded UK equity managers, with an excellent long-term track record in the Cautious Managed Sector and over 25 years' investment experience. Chris has managed the Gartmore Cautious Managed Fund since launch on 3 February 2003. Chris joined Gartmore in December 2002 as Head of UK Equity Income. Before joining Gartmore he spent 10 years at Investec Asset Management where he managed a number of successful funds including the Investec Cautious Managed Fund, which he ran from its launch in June 1993 to July 2002. Prior to this Chris was with Commercial Union as a UK equities investment analyst and was promoted to sector manager in 1985.
