Biography
Richard is a specialist UK Equity fund manager with 22 years of investment experience. He joined Schroders in 2001 and has been Head of UK Equities since 2003. Richard currently manages the Schroder UK Alpha Plus Fund and the Schroder UK Large Cap Fund as well as certain investment trusts and institutional mandates including Skandia UK Best Ideas. Prior to joining Schroders Richard held the position of UK Equity Fund Manager at Baring Asset Management from1990 and was a Fixed Income and Equity Investment Manager at Brown Shipley Asset Management from 1985. Richard has a degree in English Language and Literature, from Oxford University.
